Every month, I share the books, quotes, and resources that have been stirring something in me—the same ones I find myself passing along to clients again and again. These aren’t just feel-good recommendations. They’re the tools that actually shift the way we think, lead, and live.
- The Four Most Devastating Words In The English Language are, "What Will They Think?"
A client told me she was afraid to “let people down”—that she had to be the responsible one or everything would fall apart.
So I asked her:
“What about letting yourself down?”
“What about what you need?”
If you’re constantly over-functioning for everyone else, chances are you’re abandoning yourself in the process.

You deserve to center yourself in your life. Your peace matters just as much as anyone else's comfort.
- The Lesson That Keeps Finding Me
Do you consider yourself confident—yet still shy away from speaking up when difficulty arises?
Lately, I’ve found myself in several situations with people who were clearly controlling. And my first thought each time was:
“Okay, God, I get it. This is what I look like when I’m controlling… and it’s not cute.”
That reflection hit hard. And it helped me set firmer boundaries about what works—and what really doesn’t—for me. It’s been uncomfortable, edgy, and wildly clarifying. I can feel that I’m being prepared for a new level of visibility.
What’s the lesson life keeps putting in front of you right now?
Pay attention. You might just be getting ready to grow.
- The Song I'm Jammin'
Fishin' In The Dark by Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.
That strong beat and country sound? Total nostalgia. Takes me right back to Texas and reminds me of my husband, Preston, who grew up there.
I’ve been straight-up jammin’ this bad boy on the school run—on repeat. And yes, you know I sing loud.
- Full of Herself Moments This Month
This month, these women reminded me just how powerful it is when you stop waiting for permission and start trusting your voice:
- A woman who booked a free session realized she craved more purpose—and, as a result is now offering yoga at a domestic violence shelter. Watching her reconnect with a deeper sense of purpose reminded me how small steps can lead to big shifts in self-worth.
- One client just hit 101 days of consecutive meditation and it has changed the way she feels about herself.
- After just one 45-minute coaching session, a woman pitched her company on sponsoring coaching with me. Instead, they created an entire leadership development program–for her. I am completely giddy!
- A Confidence Catalyst client wrapped up her month-long intensive feeling more equipped to navigate her next job search–with a deeper understanding of who she is, what she wants, and what alignment really looks like.
Here's to women making powerful moves.
With love,
